Crystal Bracelets
A guide to choosing, wearing and caring for a crystal bracelet, the simplest way to keep a stone close.
A crystal bracelet is the simplest way to keep a stone with you. It sits on your wrist all day, catches the light when you reach for your coffee and, in crystal tradition, keeps its intention close to your pulse. That is why bracelets are where most people begin.
Each strand is built around what its stones are said to hold: amethyst for calm, citrine and pink quartz for joy and love, malachite for transformation, smoky quartz for grounding, and a mixed chakra strand for balance. L’Claire was founded by Eve in 2020 from a home studio in Singapore, and every piece is priced honestly, without the traditional markup.
Below: how to choose a healing crystal bracelet, which wrist to wear it on, how to stack more than one, and how to keep it looking its best in Singapore’s humidity.

Choosing and wearing
How to choose a crystal bracelet
Start with an intention rather than a colour. Ask what you would like more of this season, then let that lead you to a stone:
- Calm and clarity: amethyst, long called the stone of a quiet mind.
- Love and warmth: rose quartz and pink quartz, the classic stones of the heart.
- Abundance and optimism: citrine, often called the “Success Stone”.
- Grounding and protection: smoky quartz, malachite and black tourmaline.
- Balance: a mixed chakra strand, with one stone for each of the seven energy centres.
Then trust your eye. In crystal practice, the strand you keep coming back to is usually the right one. Our guide to your first crystal bracelet goes further, and you can find your birthstone and 2026 lucky crystal in a few taps.
Which wrist to wear it on
In crystal tradition the left hand is the receiving side and the right hand is the giving, or protecting, side. Stones you want to draw in, such as love, abundance and calm, are worn on the left: this is how our crystal guides suggest wearing amethyst, citrine and rose quartz. Stones of protection and grounding, such as black tourmaline and larvikite, go on the right. Tiger’s eye is the classic exception: left for confidence, right for protection. Stacking crystal bracelets
Two or three strands on one wrist look relaxed and deliberate. Keep one idea running through the stack, whether a shared colour family or stones with related intentions, and vary the texture: smooth round beads beside a banded or faceted stone. Clear quartz is a traditional companion to almost anything; in crystal lore it is said to amplify the stones around it.
Many people keep receiving stones on the left and a protective strand on the right, so both wrists carry something. Avoid wearing a stack tight against a metal watch, which can scratch softer stones such as malachite.
Caring for your bracelet
Take bracelets off before swimming, showering or the gym; chlorine, salt water and sweat are hard on both stones and stringing. Wipe the beads with a soft, dry cloth after a humid day, keep them away from perfume and lotion, and store each strand on its own so harder stones do not scratch softer ones. Amethyst and rose quartz can pale in strong, prolonged sunlight, so keep them off a sunny windowsill. If a strand starts to loosen, have it restrung before it breaks. Questions, answered
Which wrist should I wear a crystal bracelet on?
In crystal tradition, the left wrist is the receiving side, for stones of love, calm and abundance, and the right wrist is for protection and grounding. Each of our crystal guides gives the traditional hand for that stone.
Can I wear more than one crystal bracelet at a time?
Yes. Many people stack two or three strands. Choose stones with complementary intentions, and store them separately so they do not scratch one another.
Can I shower or swim with a crystal bracelet on?
It is best not to. Water, chlorine, salt and soap wear on the stringing and can dull softer stones such as malachite, so take bracelets off first and put them back on once you are dry.
Do your bracelets come in different sizes?
